Chief 11 (Kelley) was on scene and reported damage to the front of the building where vehicle entered and then backed out. The store was evacuated until an assessment of damage was conducted by Fire Department personnel.
Bradford City (Sta.1) Ambulance assessed the driver with no injuries. The damage was contained to a portion of the front wall however there was no signs of collapse and the store was able to be opened back up with the area of the damage cordoned off.
Owners were notifying contractors immediately to arrive to make necessary repairs.
Derrick City VFD responded with one Engine and Rescue and 12 personnel and were on scene for approx 45 minutes along with the Foster Township PD.
Accident is being determined accidental in nature.
