Milliard to spend at least 47 years in prison for arson

Bradford Era

RIDGWAY — Francis Anthony “Tony” Milliard will likely spend the rest of his life in prison after being sentenced on Friday in the 2012 arson case that destroyed a West Main Street home.

Milliard has been sentenced in the case to a minimum of 27 years and a maximum of 57 years of incarceration in the custody of the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections; Milliard was also ordered to pay restitution to State Farm Insurance in the amount of $103,440.65 with no fine being imposed by the court.

Murderers get less time. Someone in the system must have really wanted to get him.

Read the rap sheet on this guy. He shouldn't have been allowed on the streets before these crimes occurred. May he rot in prison where he belongs.

Unfortunately though, we the taxpayers must now foot the bill for the rest of his life for food, clothing, medical care, dental care, probably attorneys fees, and everything he is now entitled to. He never has to look for a job or worry about paying his bills. Restitution to State Farm? Hope they dont wait for that check to come in the mail. Attempted murder? Arson? No way! Save us money and give him the chair!!
