St. Bibiana Fish Fry

Coudersport Rabies Clinic – April 7, 2018. A Rabies Clinic will be held Saturday, April 7th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Coudersport Fire Hall. All dogs, cats, and ferrets that are at least 12 weeks old can be vaccinated against the rabies virus. The first time a dog or cat receives a vaccine, it is good for one year. Each time after that, the vaccination is good for three years. Ferrets must be vaccinated annually. All animals attending the clinic must be on a leash or in a container. Cost is $5.00 per animal. The clinic is sponsored by Dr. Lindsay Schwartzmeyer of the Potter County Veterinary Clinic, LLC.

Port Allegany Dispatched For Car / Deer Crash On Route 6 Near North Open Brook Road

At 5:55 PM on Monday, Port Allegany Fire Rescue & Ambulance have been dispatched to Route 6 near North Open Brook Road for a car / Deer crash with airbag deployment. Caller reports possible minor injuries.

Make sure you call PSP! They don't have anything better to do than respond to 1,000s of car/deer collisions annually! Still confused on the official word, you do or you don't have to call? What if you get a crack in your windshield from a stone? That's more than $250 damage. Pull over?, call?, sit?, wait? I don't want a police record by not complying!

Airbag deployment automatically makes the vehicle non-drivable. If it is an accident where the vehicle is non-drivable then yes, the police need to be contacted.
