have been contacted by many area residents with safety concerns
regarding Route 155 North of Port Allegany. PennDOT has agreed to
perform a comprehensive traffic safety study for this highway that will
look at speed limits, signage and any other options to improve safety
along this route. Over the years, there have been many tragic accidents
in this area, and we need to do everything we can to make the roadway as
safe as possible. PA State Rep. Martin Causer

Allegany...PennDOT officials have approved reducing the speed limit from
55 mph to 45 mph from near Two Mile Road to just south of Dunbar
Crossing. They'll look at signage in the area next, most likely later
