William H. Ripple, 77, formerly of Austin, PA

William H. Ripple

William H. Ripple, 77, formerly of Austin, PA passed away Tuesday morning, November 15, 2016 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville PA. He was born June 2, 1939 in Austin PA the son of the late LW “Rene” Ripple and Natalie Logue Ripple Craft.

He graduated from Austin High School Austin PA in 1957 and became a Tool and Die Maker through an apprenticeship at General Motors in Cleveland, OH. He moved with his family back to Pennsylvania working as a tool and die maker at Sylvania and Motor Coils in Emporium, PA. He became the plant manager for King Windows in Coudersport, PA before becoming the plant manager of Encon/Vallen Corp, also in Coudersport, PA, until his retirement.

Mr. Ripple was married for 47 years to Dixie Stuckey who preceded him in death on April 13, 2007. They were married November 21, 1959.

Mr. Ripple was member of the Costello United Methodist Church in Costello, PA. His other memberships included Austin Jaycees, Coudersport Scottish Rite Masons, Austin-Costello Sportsmen Club, Austin Dam Committee, Austin VFW and the Southern Potter Snowmobile Club.

He enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing and time with friends and family.

He is survived by three daughters; Rhonda Valenti of Austin, PA, Vicki Roberts of Rochester, NY, and Laurel Ripple of Galeton, PA. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Marcia Valenti, Karina Valenti, Patrick Roberts, Ryan Roberts, and William T. Ripple; two great-grandsons, one great-granddaughter; a brother James (Carol) Ripple, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Erwin Ripple, Sr.,

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Bill’s life on Monday, December 26, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Austin United Methodist Church, Turner Street, Austin with the Pastor Steven Small officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
