This evening at 16:30 City Firefighters were dispatched to a Rochester st residence for a reported" working dryer fire". Lt 1-20 (Lewis) arrived on scene and after assuming command he relayed to county dispatch that first due crews were going to work with an offensive interior attack.
Shortly after command deemed the fire under control and overhaul to follow. With all on duty staff working command requested an off duty shift (Shift 1) to report to Central Fire Station to handle any additional calls while crews operated on Rochester St.
At the completion of the incident command requested assistance for the residence's through the Bradford Red Cross.
Fire calls would continue through out the evening as another box alarm was struck for a structure fire at a South ave residence that turned out to be combustibles in a floor furnace.
Then at 20:09 a call came in for an automatic fire alarm (AFA) at a West Washington St residence.
