For those who attended Rotary today it turned out to be a fun, happy time for all. We all were happy that each other attended the meeting, and happy to see a couple of Rotarians who returned.
Our guest speaker could not make the meeting, so we concentrated on the "reason for the season" and discussed Rotary membership, the activities planned for 2017 and other club business. It is clear that we need to build membership and continue to receive donations so we may continue with the many Rotary programs for which we provide.
We also discussed the Student Exchange Program and the need for someone to accept the position of Chairman. Rotarian Bob Kuhl is willing to act as a co-chair; however, his work schedule may prohibit him from doing many of the necessary assignments involved. He would need a committee willing to work with him for a successful program.
Rotary thanked the members of Christ Episcopal Church who prepare a great luncheon for us. Each week they are there with something special for all to enjoy and we appreciate it very much.
Rotary will not be meeting on December 26 or January 2, due to the Holidays. We would like to wish everyone a very Happy Holiday Season.
