WELLSBORO—The Rock L. Butler Middle School Holiday Chorus Concert with singers from the 6th through 8th grades under the baton of Director Morgan Shaffer is this Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. in the Wellsboro High School Auditorium on Nichols Street. This concert is free and open to the public.

Piano accompanist is Christina Simonis.

The 19-member Sixth Grade Chorus will open the concert by singing four songs. They include: "Start Each Day with a Song," "Candlelight Carol" featuring seventh grader Klaryssa Casher on flute, "The Gift" with sixth grader Noah Vickery as accompanist, and "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year."

The Combined Seventh and Eighth Grade Chorus composed of 56 members will then perform "The Snow Begins to Fall" with eighth grader Sarah Mosher as accompanist; "Celebrate the Feast of Lights" with eighth grader Jessa Lohr as accompanist; "Underneath the Tree," and "Sleigh Bells."

For the final number, both choruses will join together in singing a medley entitled "Rockin' Christmas Celebration," which includes the songs "Santa Claus is Coming to Town," "Little Saint Nick," and "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree."
