Hebron Center Christian School will be hosting an “All You Can Eat Dinner” featuring Spaghetti & Meatballs or Chicken & Biscuits with a choice of vegetable and numerous choices of dessert…..It will be held at the Hebron Center Christian School in the gymnasium on Tuesday, April 25th, 2017……..Suggested Donations for the dinner are as follows: Seniors- $6.50, Adults and Youth 12-18- $8.00, Students Under 12- $6.00, Children 5 and under-FREE!........Family Rate-$25.00….. Time will be from 4:00-7:30 p.m. The Hebron Center Christian School students hosting this dinner will be attending the annual ACE International Student Convention at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP)……. ALL proceeds will benefit these students…………A bake sale will also be on the site.

Virginia L. (McChesney) Parker

Virginia L. (McChesney) Parker, 88, of Westfield, PA, died Thursday, December 22, 2016 in The Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. 

Born February 2, 1928 in Virginia Beach, VA, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Julia H. (Bell) McChesney. 

 She was a 1947 Graduate of Oleana High School in Virginia. 

Virginia sold Avon cosmetics for over 50 years, was the Judge of Elections in Westfield, was a member of the Westfield Order of the Eastern Star, and was a member of the Soldiers & Sailors Hospital Auxiliary. 

All that knew Virginia know that she was blessed with the gift of gab. She was loved and will be missed by many. 

Surviving are two daughters, Deborah (James) Pratt, Westfield and Julia (Thomas) DeNight, Ridley Park, PA; a special friend, Diane Dalgaard, Quarryville PA; three step children; six grandchildren; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her husband, Wolbert (Bud) Parker, Virginia was predeceased by three brothers, a sister, and a step son. 

 Friends may call at the United Methodist Church, Westfield PA on Saturday, January 14, 2017. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30pm with a Memorial Service following. Interment will be private at the discretion of the family. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Hess Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Collins Chapel, Galeton, PA.
