Stephanie Cossairt of Olean, who has a lengthy criminal history in both Cattaraugus and McKean counties, is accused of selling 30 bags of heroin to a confidential informant this morning in a parking lot in Eldred.

Court papers say the informant got $670 from the McKean County Drug Task Force, which she used to buy the heroin from Cossairt.

Nicholas Barnes is also charged in connection to the same incident.

Court papers say Cossairt told police Barnes promised her $100 if she sold the heroin he gave her. He told her he would only agree to go to Eldred to sell the heroin if the buyer lifted his or her shirt to show that he or she wasn’t wearing a wire, which the informant did. Barnes, was found with syringes, a marijuana pipe and a small amount of marijuana.
Their bail is $75,000 each.

In Bradford, Aisha Alzubi of Clifton, New Jersey, was arrested following a traffic stop on Mechanic Street. During the stop, a K9 officer sniffed the car, giving police probable cause to search it. They found a pink duffel bag with about four ounces of marijuana in it. Alzubi told police the bag is hers.

Her bail is $20,000 and her preliminary hearing is also scheduled for Thursday.
