101st PA Farm Show News | Jan. 04, 2017

 We invite you to join us at the 101st Pennsylvania Farm Show: Our Commonwealth's Blue Ribbon Experience! Over the next 10 days, we will celebrate the diversity of agriculture in the Keystone State through the largest indoor agricultural event in the nation. Nearly 6.000 animals, 10,000 competitive exhibits and 300 commercial exhibitors will come together in the 23-acre Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex. While the show officially starts on Saturday, we would like to share information that may be helpful as you plan your coverage of the 2017 Pennsylvania Farm Show.

The new duck slide and chick-hatching display, adjacent to the Farm-to-Shelf display in the Weis Expo Hall, at 1 p.m., where you'll see the first eggs of the 2017 PA Farm Show being hatched, and labeled in honor of Governor Wolf, Secretary Redding, media personalities, and even Penn State football coach James Franklin. PennAg Industries and partners will donate $1,000 to the Central PA Food Bank in honor of the person whose egg hatches first.
