A Rabies Clinic will be held Saturday, August 26th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Ulysses Tri-Town Firehall. All dogs, cats, and ferrets that are at least 12 weeks old can be vaccinated against the rabies virus. The first time a dog or cat receives a vaccine, it is good for one year. Each time after that, the vaccination is good for three years. Ferrets must be vaccinated annually. All animals attending the clinic must be on a leash or in a container. Cost is $5.00 per animal. The clinic is sponsored by Dr. Lindsay Schwartzmeyer of the Potter County Veterinary Clinic, LLC.

Pitt-Bradford Alumni Association to Host Tailgate Saturday

BRADFORD, Pa. - The Pitt-Bradford Alumni Association is hosting an Alumni, Student, Friends and Family Tailgate Saturday at 2 p.m. during the women’s and men’s basketball games versus Penn State Behrend.

The tailgate will include refreshments, games, prizes and music. In addition, the first 250 guests will receive a free rally towel. To RSVP for the event, please visit

The women’s team is scheduled to tipoff at 1 p.m., and the men will follow shortly after. Both teams are coming off victories against Penn State Altoona Wednesday night.

The Panther women have won four straight and are currently second in the AMCC with a 4-1 record. The men are seeking their second straight win and are among the best defensive teams in the conference.

Admission is free to all home basketball games.
