The stolen gun used to kill state Trooper Landon Weaver was obtained by the shooter in exchange for opioids.

State police say Jason Robison acquired the .32-caliber semiautomatic handgun in an illegal trade.

Bradley McMullen, a 28-year-old Huntingdon County resident, stole the Beretta Tomcat from his mother in early November and gave it to Robison in exchange for five suboxone, according to court documents.

Robison, a 32-year-old Hesston resident, used that weapon Friday evening to kill Weaver, 23-year-old rookie trooper with the Pennsylvania State Police.

'I killed the cop': Man texted ex-girlfriend after shooting trooper Landon Weaver

Police say McMullen's mother, Michelle Cerett, was unaware her gun was stolen or used to kill a state police trooper.

McMullen was charged with two felony counts of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. He is being held in Huntingdon County Jail and unable to post the $25,000 bail, according to court records. Read more...

His dumb ass needs more than just a small bail or a small prison sentence. Someone needs to beat that fucker down and make him regret his choices for the rest of his miserable life.

And I don't want to see any fucking bullshit about how he didn't have a job or that it's Obama's fault or anything else. This dumbass made his own choices. It was not someone else's fault and no one else is to blame for the decisions he made but him. He needs to realize it and deal with it and I hope it haunts him.

TELL us a your real feelings...

They now hold drug dealer accountable when some overdoses. McMullen should be held responsible in part for Trooper Weavers death.

wow so amazed such language is being posted.. language

So why make this person accountable? Because they're not from the area? If this was a local person that had done something stupid because of their supposed opoid addiction we would be made to feel guilty for making these kind of statements. This is an amazing community.

He should also be charged with the murder

Wow Jim,
Nice language you allow. Must be someone you are friends with, to post that kind of comment !!!!Hell 3/4 of my comments never make it to the blog. My comments don't have that kind of language, just the "truth or facts" !!!!!!!!!! THANKS !!!

Are you seriously all butt-hurt over the language used by the first poster so much that you are not seeing the fact that a stupid junkie had a hand in the murder of a Law Enforcement Officer? A Pennsylvania State Trooper was murdered by a whacked out stalker with an obvious mental issue, who obtained a gun from a junkie looking for a high who stole the gun from his mother, who had no idea her gun was taken.

So realistically if the junkie never would have traded the gun to the whack-job, Trooper Weaver may still be here today.

But by all means, get all butt-hurt and offended because the first poster used the word "fucker". Makes total sense.
