UPB Baseball to Host Sporting Clays Fundraising Shoot Jan. 28

By Scott Elliott
BRADFORD, Pa. - The Pitt-Bradford baseball team will be hosting a sporting clays fundraising shoot Saturday, Jan. 28, at 10 a.m. at the Bradford Gun Club.

The entry fee is $50 and includes 100 sporting clays and a lunch buffet. Registration opens at 9 a.m., and a shotgun start follows at 10 a.m. Participants will shoot 50 targets during the morning session and another 50 after lunch. Prizes will be awarded to the top marksmen, and the baseball team will be hosting drawings throughout the event.

All proceeds raised go directly toward funding the team’s annual spring break trip to Ft. Myers, Fla. The Panthers are slated to play nine games in Florida this year against teams from Massachusetts, Minnesota and Ohio.
