Morrisroe
Guilty.

Dakota Heinaman
With each of the eight times the word was read, the family of Dakota Heinaman absorbed it like a weight was lifted off their shoulders.

A jury of seven men and five women on Thursday went out at 10:43 a.m. to begin deliberations into the fate of Paul D. Morrisroe, 40, of Marshburg, charged with homicide by motor vehicle while driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana for the hit-and-run crash in 2015 which claimed the life of Heinaman.

At 5:47 p.m., the jury had reached a verdict. Read more....

He should rot..there is no question...an eye for an eye. This is an example of a good person being killed by someone always in trouble.
I hope he finds love in prison.....

It's a shame. Morrisroe looks like such a nice guy. If only he had a job, he might not have been out driving while under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

My thoughts and prayers to Dakota's family and also to the other family involved in this tragedy. The person who could not live with the thought that someone lost their life because of their actions along with Morrisroe. The only thing other than that which we all should take away from this is don't take chances with the lives of others. Don't drink impaired at all. No one should have to endure a senseless pain such as this.

Let's all hope he spends the rest of his pathetic life in jail getting what he deserves..He's nothing but a coward taking a childs life and trying to get away with it

5:32pm seriously lay off the crank. Morrrisoe was a business owner and probably had more money than you unfortunately he was also an alcoholic who thought he was above the law. He made the mistake of drinking and driving like so many others unfortunately he hit someone now he should have stopped but he didn't it was a choice and trying to cover it up clearly makes him a murder. That's my opinion and he should get life in prison heartless pick didn't even apologize or show remorse sicking...

5:32 apparently thinks they're being cute n does it to agitate people
6:14 if ya just ignore them & dont give them the attention they won't agitate you, I just ignore them, they enjoy it & its nothing but their own ignorance.

This post is getting really old! You obviously have nothing intelligent to say, and you obviously have no empathy! You are the only one who finds these same comments funny. Shame on you

I have known this person for many years and in that time he has always been a drinker. He is ignorant, mean and vial whether drunk or sober. He has always driven like a maniac...and almost ran me off the road once by passing me in a 35 mile zone...and he was flying. Although justice is being served...he deserves life without parole. I only hope Dakota's family can now find some peace and closure.
