"Art for Hearth & Home," the 33rd Annual Vesta art and craft show and sale continues this week with the addition of new items at the Gmeiner Art and Cultural Center, 134 Main Street in Wellsboro. Admission is free.

The show, featuring creative works by the 11 Vesta artists, opens this Wednesday through Friday, Jan. 4-6-from 2-5 p.m. and this Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 7 and 8 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Hours for "Art for Hearth & Home" for the rest of January are 2 to 5 p.m. on Wednesdays through Fridays, Jan. 11-13, 18-20 and 25-27.and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, Jan. 14 & 15, 21 & 22 and 28 & 29.

On display and for sale are creative machinery fiber arts, wood art and jewelry by multi-media artists Barbara Most of Rose Valley in Trout Run, Raquel Rogers of Wellsboro and Ali Taylor of Montoursville; artistic ceramics by Amy Logsdon of Bath, New York; woven scarves by fiber artist Ruth Anne Miller and photographic explorations of Pennsylvania by her daughter, Anne Sutley Miller, both of Morris; willow baskets handcrafted by Patti Dillman of Sabinsville; handbags and purses created by Patty McDonald of Tioga; and paintings by Kathryn Cummings of Tioga and SatyaVani P. Akula of Elmira, New York.

Those visiting the gallery will be able to tour portrayals of each Vesta artist's studio to see the art each one has created and the tools used to craft it.
