Galeton Rotary Donates nearly $4,000. to Community Organizations

At the weekly meeting at the Permastone Inn the Galeton Rotary Club presented nearly $4,000. to the following community organizations.

Galeton Area High School for scholarships $1,000. and $400. for school sports. Sarah Graber accepted the checks for the school

Galeton Public Library $750. Beth Lounsbery accepted the check.

Black Forest Conservation Group $200. Paul Liljia represented the conservation group.

Friends of Lyman Run $200. Maxine Harrison accepted the check

Habitat for Humanity $200. Brian Ruane was presented with the check

Way Out $200. David Hyde received the check

These funds are made possible by the funds received by the club and the annual Woodsmen's Show. This show will be held this year on August 4, 5 and 6. This very popular show has been held every year since 1952 and has enabled the club to contribute over $1,000,000. back to the community.​
