Galeton Weather May 2017

If April showers bring May flowers what do May showers bring? We had plentiful rainfall for the month, we received 5.62" Last year the total was 2.59". Pine Creek looks very nice and the gardens, trees and all flowering trees are very appreciative of the rainfall. Last year we recorded a trace of snow for the month

May was a cool month. The first week we had three mornings with readings in the low 30s. It was a very windy month too which added to the coolness.

For May the average high is 65 degrees and the average low is 41 degrees. Average rainfall is 3.66"

We had 7 foggy mornings, five thunderstorms. Those storms produced most of the rainfall.

Everyone is hoping for a sunny and warm summer.

As I have often said in the past, I only report the weather and I have nothing to do with the actual weather.
