Carolyn F. McMichael, 77, Wellsboro, PA

Carolyn F. McMichael

Carolyn F. McMichael, gently entered into the Lord’s Arms on June 6, 2017, at the Carleton Home in Wellsboro, PA.

She was born February 3, 1939 to the late Louise (Wilson) and Charles McMichael, of Wellsboro, PA.

Carolyn worked at Ben Franklin Five & Dime and Lemon Tree Hospital snack bar, here in Wellsboro. Later she worked for Kramms Nursing Home in Turbotville and Buffalo Valley Nursing Home in Muncy. She was a dedicated employee and went above and beyond to help her clients in any way that she could, very loving and caring.

Carolyn was a loving mom, sister, grandma and friend. Always giving hugs and kisses, and laughing; or willing to just sit and hold a hand, or talk on the telephone.

Surviving are brothers, Douglas McMichael (Carol) and James McMichael (Vaudine) all of Wellsboro, PA; children, Earl Spencer, Jr., Marcia Walk, Susan Holt Spencer and Lane Spencer; Grandma of Daniele Cole, Daniel Walk, Alyssa and Aryana Spencer and Braedan Coates; Great-grandma of Alexis, Cameron and Jaceton; life-long friend, Mary Anne Eckman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Patrick Eckman; 1st husband, Earl Spencer; loving and devoted fiancée, Jerry Boche of Muncy.

Family and friends are invited to share in her Life Celebration at the First Baptist Church, 25 Central Ave., Wellsboro, PA, on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Dr. Jeffrey McCleary officiating. A luncheon will follow after burial, at the church.
