I dont feel bad for people that chose to take drugs and overdose, they know the risks but are to selfish to think about anyone but the "high". So be it...

Anonymous said...

People can't even begin to imagine how bad these drugs are, and it's getting worse....

I agree it's a choice the person makes

Anonymous said...

Isn't that why they're called "JUNKIES"

Jim Jones, I'm shocked that you would allow that kinda foul language to be published, I just came on here to read this and astounded, that is uncalled for, young people read these comments also....Debi Shepard

While your point may be valid, your comment will be removed if it contains foul language. In 77 years I have become immune to that language, but other readers are offended. Please try to avoid offending others or we will have to delete.

Thank you Jim for your response,
Greatly appreciated, we need to be respectful to one another....

You could give it away with a printed warning that it will kill the user, and they will still take it.

You can't help people like that.

Fentanyl puts the first responders at risk just by touching it,something wrong with the system that requires you to put yourself in danger to save a person who chose to put the self if that position.

I feel sad and sorry for the families who are left to deal with the aftermath.

I'm sure the responders wear gloves..

Anonymous said...

You people should be ashamed for sawing that they pretty much deserve it. Thats a horrible thing to say about another human being. Unless you have been in their shoes and dealt with the severity of the disease. Sad

Anonymous said...

Yes as first responders we wear gloves. However it is still a risk if residue, powder, etc touch our clothing and we touch it from there.

Being on drugs is not a disease it's a choice !!

we all have to make choices in life .If you choose drugs you must suffer the outcome death braindead in a coma but do not endanger other people like the paramedics? Where to these people get the money to buy these drugs?? must be they are doing it in front of people or they would be dead before any one found them

If you don't try it you wont get hooked end of story!!

i don't feel bad at all. Yes, even if it were my child and they knew the consequences which I preach on a daily basis about its then on them. will i miss my child who wouldnt but itd still their fault. does that make me cold and heartless, to some folks sure but if I have done everything in my power to help them out to keep them safe and provide all the professional help and they refuse it all again it's on them then and it's no one's fault but theirs.

People sicken me that they cheer on overdoses and deaths because of a person's addiction problem. It's pathetic and cowardly. Each person has their own addiction and one way or another in their own struggle. Whether it's drugs alcohol smoking, or food. The also have families and loved ones who are drug through this as well. Shame on you for not having a heart or any type of compassion.
