Event To Promote Suicide Prevention & Mental Health Awaremess Scheduled

Potter County Yellow Ribbon and members of the 2017 Leadership Potter County class are hosting a speaking event on July 2, 2017 at 6:00pm. It will be at the Christ Episcopal Church in Coudersport (601 North Main St).

This event is in effort to promote Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Awareness throughout the community. Terri Roberts, mother of the man responsible for the Nickle Mines Amish School Shooting, will share her personal experience with overcoming such a tragic event. Her story focuses on hope, forgiveness, and how her religious faith helped her get through this difficult time. A book signing and Ice Cream Social will follow Terri speaking. A good will offering will be greatly appreciated upon attending.
