Linda A. Brown

Linda A. Brown, 60, of Germania, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA surrounded by her family. 

Born August 22, 1956, in Wellsboro, PA, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Alice (Swan) Mashula. On May 27, 1978, she married Charles E. Brown of Galeton, who survives. 

Linda was a Caseworker at Concern for several years. She greatly enjoyed doing ceramics, traveling, spending time on their houseboat at Cayuga Lake, working with color pencil media and spending time with her grandchildren. 

Surviving in addition to her husband, Charles Brown, are a son, Charles Michael (Rebecca) Brown, Galeton; a daughter, Jessica (Jason) Glenn, Westfield, PA; three grandchildren, Parker, Duncan, and Cecily; two brothers, Frank A. Mashula, Germania, PA and Mark (Lori) Mashula, Carter Camp, PA; a sister, Cherie Mashula, Galeton; and several nieces and nephews. 

A private family service will be held at the family’s convenience. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hess Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Galeton.
