Ronald D. Quinn, 83, of 134 School St., Bradford, PA, passed away June 6, 2017.

Born February 13, 1934, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Daniel B. and Ruth I. (Phillips) Quinn.

US Army Veteran
He was a 1952 graduate of Bradford High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army, served in Germany, and was honorably discharged.

On December 18, 1954 in the First United Methodist Church, he married his high school sweetheart, Barbara J. (Therminy) Quinn who died February 12, 2001.

Ron was employed for 42 years at Zippo Manufacturing Co. He worked in the Military Sales Division and retired as Foreign Export Sales Manager.

Ron was an avid bowler and golfer and enjoyed both hobbies especially when spending time with his sons. He was a member of the Pine Acres Country Club. He also enjoyed spending time at the casino.

He was a member of the Hill Memorial United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Kevin D. (Audrey) Quinn, of Bordentown, NJ, and Scott D. (Mary Ann) Quinn, of Lewis Run, 7 grandchildren, Steven (Cason) Quinn, Kate (Nick) Sproveri, Jarrett Courtney, Kati Courtney, Sasha Quinn, Abigail Quinn and Tracy (Shawn) Alexander, 4 great grandchildren, Lucah and Myla Sproveri and Tyler and Madison Alexander, a sister in law, Carol Therminy, a nephew, Mark (Michelle) Therminy, several nieces and nephews, and a dear friend Simone Atwater of Arcade, NY

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a brother Richard Quinn and a brother in law, Bruce Therminy.

Family will be receiving friends on Friday June 9, 2017, from 2:00 pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 372 East Main St., where funeral and committal services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, with Rev. W. LeRoy Beckes, retired Presbyterian minister, officiating. Entombment will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the United Way of Bradford.
