Sandy was a graduate of Bolivar High School, Class of 1952. For a short period of time, she was employed by the former Clark Brothers in Olean.

Her most cherished time was being a wife, mother, and raising their six children. Sandy enjoyed cooking, gardening, music, her beloved pets, a dish of ice cream at night, and in her earlier years, doing pottery. Along with her husband, she enjoyed going to yard sales. Together, they also took great pleasure in experiencing the outdoors and nature. Her greatest love was spending time with her expanding family.

Surviving besides her husband are six children, Sophia J. Majot of Ballston Spa, Sarah A. Majot of Burnt Hills, Edward E. (Betty) Majot of Little Genesee, Douglas A. Majot of Wellsville, Paul D. (Kimberly) Majot of Little Genesee; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Rebecca (Clark) Jacques of Little Genesee; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sandy was predeceased by two sisters, Marilyn Cradduck and Paula Faulkner.

Friends may call from 10am to noon on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, 118 South Union Street, Shinglehouse, PA, where funeral services will follow at noon with Pastor Ben Ramirez of the Faith Bible Church, Little Genesee, officiating.
