Standing room only! Not even using the land that is in question for sale. Looks as if the sale is a wise decision.

That's what all the fuss is about? You can do that anywhere.

Gonna make an awesome gas station!

What was going on there?

As far as comments 3, 4 and 5 on here. Has our town descended that far for real, or are these just random opinions by a couple of people who don't get it? Why in the world would anyone expect 'standing room only' for a barely advertised gathering of sociable townspeople on a hot Sunday afternoon? There is a lot of manipulation of the comments section on here trying to create the myth that there's a groundswell of support for selling out to Sheetz. Comments I have heard in person from a cross section of residents are running about 20 to 1 in favor of leaving the arboretum alone and not caving in to the greed.

20 to 1 Seriously? You must be talking to the 80 and over club. When you can keep the arboretum and still grow local business, its a no brainer. People aren't falling for the corporate greed scenario, Sheetz invests in their locations communities and pays better than most of the local jobs that require no education or experience. From the pictures looks like a geriatric picnic, and when you offer free food, live music and beverage, wow, sparse. Run pictures of the new Sheetz grand opening, I'm guessing it will be packed!

No really, I just wanted to know what the gathering was for? And why wasn't I invited? Haha btw I love the Arboretum! The kiddos and I go there for picnics and yes with Sheetz food. Besides that 'GREEN' is the new 'GOLD'.

Awesome little reflecting park, problem is (much like the one in Port) A poor choice of location sandwiched in between DG and Sheetz if not this time, one day it will have to move. Sad but realistic. I think the Borough should take advantage of the demand sell the lot and help fund the move for a better Arboretum. Just one opinion.

It's a memorial. Leave it be.
