Bradford Little Theatre To Announce Upcoming Season

Mark your calendars! Bradford Little Theatre (BLT) is excited to announce the line up for their 21st Season at their upcoming Season Announcement Party on Sunday, August 6.

“We have put together a really interesting and intriguing selection of shows for our 21st Season. I hope the community will be pleased with what we are planning to offer and enthusiastic to attend the shows we will be presenting,” said Kristin Asinger, BLT Board President.

The event will include hors d'oeuvres and refreshments, raffle baskets, and a 50/50 drawing. One highlight of the event will be a performance by the local band “The Grand Day.”

A special feature of the event will be the presentation of BLT’s annual "Spotlight Award" to make-up artist Amy Thomas.

“The Spotlight award was started so that we could recognize an individual each year who has really stepped up to the plate to help our organization whether it is on stage, backstage, or on one of our organizational committees.

“Amy has been an amazing asset to our organization since she began volunteering with us a few years ago during “Shrek The Musical.” Amy has helped with practically every show since then and always goes beyond to make sure our actors are looking their best,” Asinger said.

The group’s upcoming season will consist of 5 major productions as well as some special events.

“The director for each upcoming show will talk about the show they will be directing and their plans. This will give the audience an insider’s perspective on what is in the works and why they chose this particular show,” said Chelsea Place, BLT secretary.

The event will begin at 2pm on August 6 at Togi’s Playhouse at 18 Welch Ave. in Bradford. Tickets for the event are $10 per person and can be purchased at Graham Florist or Togi’s Restaurant. Tickets will be sold at the door if available and can also be reserved by calling Place at 814-598-9956.
