David K. Ohmer, 69, lifelong Russell, PA

David K. Ohmer, 69, lifelong Russell, PA, resident died peacefully in his sleep at his residence, Tuesday, July 4, 2017. 

He was born in Warren, PA, son of the late Kenneth and Helen Virginia Jackson Ohmer. 
Vietnam War Veteran

Dave was a 1965 graduate of Eisenhower High School and served with the U.S. Army as a Specialist 4th Class, during the Vietnam War. 

He was employed as an engineer at Loranger’s Insert Molding Technology, retiring in 2016. 

He was avid hunter, enjoyed target practice shooting, his animals, when he had them. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, Frewsburg American Legion Post. He was known as a man of simple pleasures.

David is survived by his brother – Charles E. Ohmer of Russell, PA., a special friend whom he has known since his high school days, Mae Brown of Warren, PA, and longtime close friend, Jim Roberts of Russell, PA.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., on Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. where a funeral and committal service will be conducted Monday, July 10, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. Full military honors will be conducted by members of the Clarendon/Sheffield V.F.W. Funeral Honor Guard and U.S. Army personnel. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell, PA.
