“This Beautiful World” exhibit will remain on display from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays and from 2-5 p.m. on Wednesdays through Fridays, between Saturday, Aug. 5 and Sunday, Sept. 24.

Also opening on Aug. 4 will be a new exhibit In the Atrium Gallery titled “Science in Our Daily Lives.” Ten to 15 works, including photography, paintings, found-object sculpture and drawings will be on display from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays and 2-5 p.m. on Wednesdays through Fridays between Saturday, Aug. 5 and Sunday, Aug. 27.

"Science in Our Daily Lives" is the result of an art contest initiated by Hometown Science, a new group that has formed to share locally relevant scientific information, knowledge and tools through a series of free speaker and film events and a Hometown Science Festival on The Green in Wellsboro on Saturday, Aug. 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
