NYSP Amity - A Lost Wallet leads to Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance arrest

On July 2nd, 2017, Troopers arrested , 30 of Fillmore, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.

A lost wallet was turned over to the State Police which was found to contain a controlled substance. Investigation led to the owner Totsline claiming the wallet and its contents, to include the illegally possessed controlled substance. 

He was arrested and transported to SP Fillmore for processing. He was released on tickets and is due to appear before the Town of Hume Court on 7/13/2017 at 6:00P.M.

Sounds fishy. Maybe the person who "turned over " the wallet, put the stuff in there. And the accused really didn't have "possession" of the stuff, it was just in his lost wallet. Sounds like a set-up. Who turned over the wallet, a 'questionable' person?
