***** Squad 46-8 is In Service*****

Last evening members removed all the equipment from Rescue 46-8, placed it out of service and placed Squad 46-8 in service

Squad 46-8 is a 1998 Piece Dash Rescue Engine, 8 man cab with a 750 gallon tank a 1750 GPM Pump, and 20 Gallons of Foam. It has a full compliment of Extrication Tools, Cribbing, Rope Rescue, Water Rescue, Hazmat, Air Bags, Hand Tools, PPV Fan, Thermal Imaging Camera, Hydrant Assist Valve, On board air, On board generator. The Squad has (2) 1 3/4 " Attack lines, (1) 2 1/2 attack line, 200' of 3" 1200' of 5 inch hose. This will be first due on all Fire/Rescue calls.

And thank you to the members who have spent numerous hours completing driver training, pump training, setting up/mounting tools and equipment and those who helped place the squad in service last night.
