The big push about opiod deaths of 50k people per year is TRAGIC! Hopefully this can stop, but...Alcohol kills 80,000 people EVERY YEAR AND HAS BEEN FOR DECADES!! Where's the outrage? A government approved drug solely for the purpose of reaping the tax revenue!! The police need to sit down the road from every bar and have DUI checkpoints. Revenue is revenue? But in reality, enough is enough!! We should not have to drive in fear from some *%#*} drunken idiot driving into any one of us. Any person who has had someone close to them taken by a drunk driver knows the pain I feel. Driving while intoxicated is no different than carrying a pistol into a crowd and randomly shooting. A death is a death!

More people die from dui than from texting and driving. They need to focus on what's a bigger deal than move onto the next one.

Dui kills more people than texting and driving. They need to worry about the bigger problem then move on to the next thing.
