SCOTT WAGNER TO JOIN THE GREAT POTTER COUNTY TOUR

Left to Right:  Scott Wagner, and Chairman of Brewery Products in York, PA, John Keesee, with the lead Clydesdale, Bandit
Potter County Republican Chairman, Karen Cahilly, announced the planned visit by Scott Wagner, candidate for PA Governor, on Friday, August 18, 2017; as part of the “GREAT POTTER COUNTY TOUR”; commencing at 10:00 a.m. at the Potter County Education Council located at 5 Water Street in Coudersport. The public is welcome to attend this event.

Since announcing his candidacy for PA Governor, Wagner began a state-wide tour where he’s visited various rural counties such as Potter County. Wagner will arrive in Potter County by way of the Greeley Airport located on Bowers Road, Coudersport in order to visit the Potter County Education Council to discuss the Rural Regional College of Northern Pennsylvania (the “RRC”); a network of community-based centers and satellite delivery sites, which will provide affordable, accessible, career-focused technical and degree programs for the residents of Potter County.

Wagner is a lifelong resident of York County; growing up on a farm, and eventually becoming a small business owner. In March of 2014, Wagner ran a write-in campaign and was elected State Senator for the 28th District. As State Senator, Wagner is Chairman of the Senate Local Government Committee and Vice Chairman of the Senate Labor and Industry Committee, and sits on the Senate Appropriations Committee. He also serves on the Transportation and Intergovernmental Operations committees.

Wagner will remain on the tour for other planned stops including the Penn State Cooperative Extension, the Artisan Center and Visitors Bureau.

No RSVP’s are required and anyone wishing more information on the tour may contact Chairman Cahilly directly at (814) 274-9465, or by cell at (814) 203-9562 and email: kcahilly@verizon.net.

Not a good choice for governor. No concern for those other than the elite. I am a strong conservative Republican but I have compassion and do not consider the super wealthy and industrial titans to be the only people who matter. If this guy gets the nomination I will for the first time in my life not vote for a Republican in the governor race. The Republican County Chairman should not be taking sides or appearing to be either. There is a another Republican candidate in next year's election who Scott Wagner is trying to pound down with his millions of dollars he us pouring into making us think he is something that he is not.

Hope he brings the gentle giant with him....

I agree with 12:44. What is so "great" about this your and who called it that? The County Chairman is supposed to be neutral in the primary. This guy is running against the Republican Party and our own chairman who we count on is rolling out the red carpet. No wonder we are in trouble. From Washington to Harrisburg and now down in to Potter County we are becoming our own worst enemy//

Don't vote for a flatlander.

Whoa there Bessie. This Republican County Committee has a similar tour set for Paul Mango, soon to come pending his commitment to visit our county, which I've been told is a priority; also another flat lander, but another potential candidate worth considering. Prejudging and assuming the character of any person makes ALL of us hilltop dwellers look like donkeys.
