The third annual Bradford Wine Walk steps off Saturday in downtown Bradford

There's no whining in this Bradford event, but there's a lot of wining.

The event runs from 5 to 9 p.m. The early bird start is 4 p.m. The event included wine tastings, music, merchant specials and hors d'oeuvres.

"Whether you like wine a little or a Merlot, this will be a great opportunity to try wine from a variety of wineries," said organizer Christy Graham.

A porter service is available which will take purchases to a central location so walkers do not need to carry the wine they buy.

There are many Rieslings to do the walk, which will happen rain - or dry.

Each participant will get a commemorative wine glass.

The following are the participating wineries and their locations.

Flickerwood Wine Cellars and Cocktail Lounge - Michelle's Flair for Hair
Twisted Vine Winery - Graham Florist
Wine Smoothies by Delong Enterprise - Wright's Music Shed
Deer Creek Winery, Inn B&B, & Event Center - Tin Ceiling Gift Shoppe
Courtyard Winery - On The Side Books
Wapiti Ridge wine cellars - Timeless Treasures
Allegany Cellars - Main Street Mercantile
Starr Hill Vineyard & Winery - Moments to Remember

Reserve-ations are not needed but tickets are available at Northwest Savings Bank on Main Street, East Main Street and Smethport, and also at The Tin Ceiling Gift Shop, The Main Street Mercantile, Michelle's Flair for Hair, Bella Cappeli's and Wright's Music Shed. Tickets, ranging from $20 to $25, can also be purchased online at Eventbrite.

The event is sponsored by Downtown Bradford Business District Association.
