You can tour three CCC camps in Tioga County this weekend

Good luck with this! I've called the park three times and no one who answered could confirm or deny this program/tour is actually going to happen. I requested a return call from the park when someone could confirm or deny whether this tour is going to occur. I have yet to receive a call in three weeks. Last Saturday I even drove out to the park and the office was closed at 11:55 AM. What's that about? No staff on a Saturday? The only people I could find to talk to were in the souvenir shop, and they didn't know anything either!! I have some friends who were planning to travel several hours to attend, but with no confirmation they are staying home. Excellent way to run an event. It's not even on the DCNR website. ...A Potter County resident and history lover!!

Yep had a 63 bel air traveling on a last leg of a 5,000 miles roadtrip in 2010 on way home got stranded at Leonard harrison as dusk approached cause of a broken safety switch in shifter, called many times honked, flashed lights waited was about to call 911 waste officers time to show up in middle of nowhere but a male tourist showed up knew what i was talking about to bypass jump start it and i finally left, park is not reliable for help or info, ring and ring good luck, i would show up but too far not worth the hassle if canceled shame no wonder people stop going to parks nobody cares anymore back then rangers actually lived there and made sure everyone was ok but now they just want to hassle you to not come back anymore, yell at you for camping, declining DCNR supporter!
