The annual lot owners meeting of the West Hill Cemetery Association, Inc was held on September 11th at the First Presbyterian Church, Galeton. Marla McIlvain and Brian Tevlin, vice presidents and trust officers of C&N Bank were present to review the cemeteries perpetual care trust account. The perpetual care trust has grown nicely over the years since it was established by the late Henry W. Lush in 1930.

The overall financial report was reviewed as were all of the sale of lots and other maintenance matters.

Three directors were elected to serve 3 year terms, Mark Germino, Sam Lush and Phil Osgood

After the lot owners meeting the cemetery board held it's meeting. It was reported that 30 trees have been cut down and now the cleanup will begin. The trees that were removed had died since they were planted in 1962. It has improved the overall appearance of the cemetery. A one acre lot was purchased adjoining the cemetery, This was purchased as a part of the county tax sale.

Caretaker Gary Leach was complimented on the fine work he is doing to maintain the West Hill Cemetery. It is a year long job. Robin Leach also was complimented on the outstanding job she is doing keeping the records and business of the cemetery up to date.
