I saw one of these critters setting on my porch steps one day last week when I went out for the mail along Rt. 144. I didn't know what it was at the time, but it was a pretty color. Then it flew away. Have they been reported in our area?

I think it is supposed to be confined to the 4 counties in the Southwestern part of the state. I burn wood and I believe I saw this bug in my garden last fall in Roulette. It may have spread farther than the experts know.
