Galeton's Fabulous Fireworks are scheduled for July 5th at the John J. Collins Memorial Park at 10 pm.

Friday evening there will be music and various booths in the town park as well as the Fireman's Water Battles.

Saturday the fun will continue in the town of Galeton with a spectacular end to the evening with the fireworks.

The 33rd Annual Bark Peelers Convention

Come and experience the Bark Peelers Convention!

There will be contests, food, demonstrations, music and good fun to highlight the Bark Peelers' Convention, just as it did in bygone times.

Some of the entertainment to enjoy will be woodhick skills, and the refuge keeper skit.

Fun contests to watch or participate in will be fiddling, tobacco spitting, the greased pole contest, frog jumping and birling. Demonstrations include sawmilling, antique engines, log skidding, chain saw carving, blacksmithing, camp cooking and butter churning.

There will be food, crafts and wagon rides as well
