Wilson Surrenders To Authorities In Las Vegas

WFRM
A former McKean County resident, wanted for theft, surrendered last week to law enforcement authorities in Las Vegas, Nevada according to Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers.

Kristopher Wilson, 27, of East Valley Road Smethport was wanted by Kane-based state police for incidents taking place this past May 31 and June 1.

Troopers claim Wilson took a small safe and a small metal lockbox containing $1700 in cash from a home on the East Valley Road in Keating Township and stole a 1999 Dodge Caravan which he drove to his father’s home on Pump Station Road in Liberty Township, near Port Allegany.

Police say Wilson then stole a full-size gun safe containing 15 guns, miscellaneous collectibles and relics valued at nearly $36,000. He left the stolen van at his father’s home and took a 2004 Pontiac Vibe which he apparently drove to Nevada.
