Crude Oil Drops Below $100. A Barrel Locally

WESB News: 09/10/08 - Oil Drops Below $100 a Barrel

The price of Penn Grade crude oil has dropped below $100 a barrel for the first time since April.

Today American Refining Group is paying $97 a barrel. That's a drop of $3 from yesterday's price.

The last time the price was below $100 was April 4th, when the price was $98.50 a barrel. The price peaked at $138.50 a barrel on July 7.

I am sure it will not be seen at the gas and diesel pumps very quickly! The price seems to go up a whole lot faster than it goes down.

Can buy diesel in Coudy at Sheetz for 4.199 but is still 4.559 a gallon in Ulysses,hmm, quit a difference in price!

Off road fuel prices have not dropped very fast either, seems like a lot of price gouging going on!
