Damage at the C.A. Elliott lumber mill in Roulette has been estimated to be $900.000 according to the state police fire marshal who is investigating the blaze which was discovered at 3:15 a.m. Monday morning.
In a news release issued this afternoon, Roulette Fire Chief Ray Kulp said over 6000 feet of 5 inch hose and hundreds of feet of other hose was used to fight the blaze.
The chief said four pieces of aerial equipment were used, two from Coudersport, one from Galeton, one from Emporium Mutual aid was provided by Austin, Coudersport, Shinglehouse, Harrison Valley, Galeton, Port Allegany, Eldred, Smethport, Ulysses, Emporium Norwich Township and Westons Mills, NY, More....
