Prentice D. Fish, 61, Montoursville, Formerly Smethport, PA

Smethport- Prentice D. Fish, 61, of Montoursville, PA, formerly of Smethport, died Tuesday (September 9, 2008) in the Hamot Medical Center, Erie, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born Apr 16, 1947 in Bradford, a son of Wayne M. and Helen A. Hanlon Fish. On Feb. 14, 1981, in Jamestown, NY, he married Jody K. Fosberg, who also died Sept. 9, 2008.

Mr. Fish was a graduate of Pleasantville High School and attended Jamestown Business College and Fredonia State University, NY.

Mr. Fish was a maintenance supervisor for Zippo Manufacturing, and recently was employed by Textron Lycoming of Williamsport, PA, in maintenance.

He was a member of the F &AM of Pleasantville, PA, and his family was his world.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by
one daughter: Lindsey K. (Josh) Jelmberg of Henderson, NV
two sons: Ryan C. Fish of Uniontown, OH, Kory F. Fish of Montoursville, PA
one sister: Carol Covell of Erie, PA
one brother: David (Rhea) Fish of Pleasantville, PA
nephew: Andrew (Jennifer) Fish, and their children, Caleb, Andrew, and Logan

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11A.M. To 1 P.M. at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 2 Bank St., Smethport, PA, where funeral and committal services will be held at 1 pm, in the funeral home, with the Rev. Allen D. Young, pastor of the East Smethport United Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Smethport.

Memorials may be made to the Kane Volunteer Fire Dept., Kane, PA.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., Smethport.
