Reader Sends Link To Little Known Facts

Hi. I am a dedicated follower of your news blog. I love it. Keep up the
good work. This morning I read an article written by Kenneth P. Vogel of
Politico which I thought was rather interesting. If you would post them,
I will list the key points of the article and the link in case anyone else
is interested in reading it.

What are the candidates hiding?
Here are 10 of the top missing documents from the 2008 presidential
campaign (in no particular order):

*Obama's legal clients (Rezmar, co-owned by Obama's disgraced former
fundraiser, Tony Rezko, and also William Moorehead who was convicted of
stealing over $1 million from public housing projects that he managed)

*Palin's e-mails (Palin used a private e-mail account and often copied her
husband on state business in which the state of Alaska has extended her
deadline for producing the e-mails until 2 weeks after the election)

*Biden's earmark requests (Biden has no public record of earmark requests,
but has an earmark wish list for fiscal year 2009 which tally $342
million)

*John and Cindy McCain's taxes (John and Cindy McCain maintain separate
finances which makes it look like he owns relatively little and has been
comparatively unforthcoming about his wealth)

*Obama's state Senate records and schedules (Obama claims that he did not
have the resources available to maintain those kinds of records and they
could have been thrown out - He wouldn't withstand an IRS audit very well)

*Palin's college transcripts (Although her high school friend, who
supposedly attended 3 of the 5 schools that Palin attended, reported that
she was a straight A student, none of the 12 former Palin professors that
were interviewed remember her attending. Her transcripts were not
released)

*Obama's Columbia thesis (which dealt with Soviet nuclear disarmament)

*All four candidates' medical records (who knew that Obama is a smoker and
has a family history of cancer? or that selected journalists were allowed
to leaf through McCain's 1200 page medical history covering only 8 years,
but were not permitted to share the information?)

*Obama's small donors (Obama lied about half of his contributions of $605
million that his campaign raised was from small donors)

*McCains's flight records (FEC records show McCain's payments to a Cindy
McCain-controlled company, King Aviation, total $477,000 since the summer
of 2007)

So...If all of this is actually true, why are they still campaigning?

because it is not true, again just normal people in penn. (and all over the us) that will go to all cost to make him not pres. The youth vote will win this one. With 4x more youth voters this year the prev. years and 2/3 going for obama it is a win win for him.

Even if he was born outside of the US he still has proven to me and others as you can tell that he can run this country.

Get real...it doesn't really matter who people vote for...the president will be chosen by the electoral college votes anyways.

I think it is important to remind readers to read the entire article. Even from the brief summary on this page it is apparent that neither McCain or Obama are squeeky clean. People seem to forget that if a politician does their part, it does not matter what their personal actions or view points are becuase they should be reporesenting the people who voted for them.
