Three Charged After Fracas Near Galeton

WFRM NEWS

All people involved in an argument late Sunday night have been charged by state police locally.

Troopers said the incident allegedly began when 41 year old Raymond Giannini of Galeton who was traveling south on the Loucks Mills Road, squealed his tires for a period of time while crossing through the intersection with Route 6 near the home of Joseph Colucci. Police said Colucci heard the squealing and left his house, following Gianni to his home on Old Route 6 and confronted him.

The men became engaged in a loud argument which included profanity and 26 year Casey Stilson heard the argument, and went outside the residence she shares with Giannini and all three reportedly argued.

Police said the altercation escalated to the point where Stilson allegedly damaged Colucci’s vehicle by hitting it with a stick. Colucci then reportedly rammed his vehicle into the back of Giannini’s vehicle causing visible damage to the rear bumper. As Colucci was leaving the scene, Giannini allegedly picked up a cinder block and threw at the windshield of Colucci’s car, causing more damamge. Colucci, while leaving, drove through the lawn at the residence.

Charges of disorderly conduct and criminal mischief are being filed against all three while the two men are also facing summary traffic charges.
