Endeavor News Preview

Here are some of the stories in this week's Endeavor News:

John Rigas and his son Tim continue to fight for their freedom as they face a second holiday season in a North Carolina federal prison. A move is afoot to seek a Presidential pardon or sentence commutation for John Rigas.

A new exhibit is coming to the Coudersport Arboretum, and it's a BIG one. Coudersport Area Lions Club has acquired a passenger car from the Knox and Kinzua Railroad and plans to bring it to the arboretum and turn it into a mini-museum.

Local wildlife conservation officers are forecasting an excellent season when bear hunters head out on Monday morning.

Investors interested in owning a part of a new "community mercantile" in downtown Coudersport can now buy shares.

This week's Endeavor News also offers a forecast of the upcoming deer-hunting season and local information on furbearer trapping.

Buck hunters will want to check out this week's Endeavor News for details on the Big Woods Whitetail Classic, a big buck contest and more taking place Dec. 1-13 at the Laurelwood Inn, sponsored by Gore-Tex and supported by the Sweden Feedin' Club.
