BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will hold a forum next week on planning for graduate school.

The forum will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, in the Mukaiyama University Room in the Frame-Westerberg Commons and is free and open to the public.

Dr. Lauren Yaich, associate professor of biology; Dr. Warren Fass, associate professor of psychology; Jason Honeck, assistant professor of athletic training; and Melissa Ibanez, director of financial aid; will present information and answer questions on a variety of topics.

Those topics may include selecting a graduate school program, obtaining letters of reference, deciding if graduate school is a good fit, identifying how graduate school is different from undergraduate school, writing a thesis versus taking comprehensive exams, taking graduate admission tests, obtaining assistantships and fellowships, selecting a university and writing a personal essay.

Each person attending will receive a free graduate school guide.
