Habitat For Humanity Elects Officers/Sets Projects For 2009

It has been an exciting year for us! With your help, we completed the Hill Street house in Coudersport and are now working on the details and plans for a house in Roulette. The fund raising will be done this winter! A house in Galeton is also on our list for upcoming projects.

At our most recent Annual Board of Directors meeting, the following individuals were elected to serve:
Scott Ogden, President Mitch DeLong, Vice President
Janine Morley, Treasurer Charlotte M. Blain, Secretary
Members of the Board of Directors:
Jim Blain Shiela Easton Evon McJunkin Pam and Rod Rees
Tami Sevinsky Lee Silverstrim Carol Spaulding
Dan and Laurie Barr-Tomkinson Bryan and Theresa Welsh
Congratulations to those elected! We look forward to a most successful 2009 with our new Officers and Board of Directors.

Upcoming Events in 2009:
• Publication of a brand new Habitat For Humanity Cookbook. This is the first one ever done by the Potter County HFH and we are hoping it will prove to be a great fundraiser.
• Second Annual Volunteer Dinner will be held in May, 2009.
• Annual Habitat For Humanity Golf Tournament to be held in June, 2009.

Potter County Habitat For Humanity Restore Project:
We are in need of a store front and/or small warehouse space in Coudersport in which to put gently used or new building materials, etc. which are donated to Habitat by members of the Community. These items will be sold at the Restore and the funds will go to Habitat. Restore projects have been very successful in other parts of the state and country, and we feel that it could be the same here in Coudersport. Anyone interested or wanting to get involved with Habitat For Humanity should contact Jim and Charlotte Blain at
