Lucielle I. Quick, 58, Knoxville, PA

Lucille I. Quick, 58, of Knoxville, PA, died Sunday, December 7, 2008 in her daughter’s home in Westfield, PA.

Born October 24, 1950, in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of Larry and Delores Howard Coon. She was married to Kenneth D. Quick, who predeceased her in 2001.

A graduate of Port Allegany High School, she served honorably with the US Army and was employed as a caregiver.

Surviving are: two daughters, Dawn Post of Westfield, PA and Michelle Safford of Addison, NY; eight grandchildren; two sisters Clarinda Weiss of Ulysses, PA and Erma Nichols of Jamestown, NY; a brother, Larry Coon of Kansas City, KS; and seven cousins with whom she was raised, Ken Howard, Ronda Dickerson, Daryl Howard, Alice Waggoner, Ralph Howard, Pam Hughes, and Philip Howard.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by an aunt who raised her, Doris Howard Wilcox.

Friends may call at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, with Funeral Services following at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Donald N. Miller will officiate.

Military Rites will be accorded by members of the Potter County Honor Guard. Burial will be in Mills Cemetery, Mills, PA.
