Despite some damage, Paris Companies is up and running following an early morning fire Sunday

Company President David Stern said a small crew of volunteers came into the building to do some cleanup and limited shift work.

"The fire marshal is almost sure it was electrical," Stern said. "They've found the box where the fire started but they're still investigating exactly what caused it to burn."

Stern said no damage estimate is available, but the company was fortunate.
"There was some smoke damage and water damage. The sprinkler system kicked on and isolated the fire to one small section of the building," he said.

He also said the company is continuing to operate and all shifts were back to work Monday.

The fire broke out at about 1:18 a.m. Sunday and fire crews were on the scene for about two hours.

One firefighter was injured after falling on ice; no other injuries were reported.
