Ray L. Eisenhart, Jr., 69, Gaines, PA

Ray L. Eisenhart, Jr., 69, of Gaines, PA, died Thursday, December 4, 2008 in the Snyder Memorial Health Center, Marienville, PA.

Born November 25, 1939, in Milford Square, PA, he was the son of Ray and Helen Druckenmiller Eisenhart.

A graduate of Quakertown High School, he served honorably with the US Air Force from 1957 – 1962.

On July 16, 1966, in Milford Square, he married the former Sandra R. Knowles, who survives.

He was employed at St. Marys Carbon in Galeton and Pure Carbon in Coudersport. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Galeton, Goodyear Hose Company, Gale Hose Ambulance, and served as an EMT and paramedic assistant at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, watching NASCAR, and being outdoors with his dog, Samantha.

Surviving besides his wife, Sandra, are: a son, Jim Eisenhart of Scio, NY; a daughter, Cindy (Mark) Beacker of Germania, PA; three grandsons, Cody Eisenhart, Jacob Beacker, and Jesse Beacker; three brothers, Adrian “Skip” Eisenhart of Mifflinburg, PA, Jim (Joan) Eisenhart of Quakertown, and Don (Cheryl) Eisenhart of Winder, GA; his father-in-law, Robert Knowles of Wellsboro, PA; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, December 8, 2008 in the First Presbyterian Church, Galeton. The Rev. Karl W. O. Runser, III will officiate. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Brookland, PA.

Military Rites will be accorded by the Potter County Honor Guard.
