Senator Says EPA Wants To Tax Cow Belches, EPA Says Thats Cow Poop

EPA tries to milk money from dairy farmers, Schumer says

U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., has made it his mission to ensure that New York farmers aren’t burdened with a tax against their cows’ belches.

Sen. Schumer held a statewide conference call with reporters Wednesday and said that a little-known “cow tax” could be imposed on New York farmers should the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) move forward with some new regulations.

But EPA officials maintain the agency is not proposing such a cow tax. More...

There are only a small number of farmers left in Potter County and the couple that are happen to be big scale. Wow, what will be next? Foreign milk. Better get a cow and hide it!
North Carolina pig farmers have been going through a similar problem. NC has been trying to tax them for polution also. These farmers fought back by addressing the polution that thousands of golf courses put out. Far greater than the pig farms. Government officials don't want to hear about the golf course polution, that steps on their fun!

totally stupid .!!! officals should be bared for even thinking as low as this..but it doesnt reflect their wages going down..or their jobs being gone. they will always be paid well for stupid thoughts...cuts need to be made starting at the top not at the bottom ..we keep are country alive....if it wasnt for the farmers and the working man ...watch what happens
